Family photo shoot!
My awesome brother Chris took these for us.
Getting both of the dogs to look at the camera at the same time is damn near impossible, so we settled for them just looking in the general direction.
I pretty much love taking photos of my dogs.
So here’s my latest love fest series.
I realize it has been a while since I’ve posted any new photos of the dogs.
After getting fixed Calypso may or may not have gained a considerable amount of weight, making her a true husky by all definitions.
Don’t worry though, Tucker still loves her and so do we!
After Tucker impregnated Calypso he went straight to doggie hell aka to get fixed.
Pregnant with Octuplets, Calypso was feeling massive anxiety and depression over Tucker being gone all day at the vet.
When Derek got home from work she was sitting in a corner crying.
He was able to capture this hilarious/sweet video of her reaction to everything going on.
Listen carefully and you can hear her saying, “I love him!” over and over again.
This section of my blog will be dedicated to my dogs and all of the cute, hilarious, and terrible things they do.
Here’s an introduction:
This was the first day we met the little guy. He crawled right into my crevice and I knew he would be mine.
[In retrospect, we really should have taken how muddy he was at 4 weeks old as a HUGE warning sign for things to come, but we were blinded by his dashing good looks and piercing blue eyes]
We got to take him home three weeks after our first visit at 7 weeks old. As you can see, he is still dirty and we are still naive.
Fast forward his life…
This is Tucker now, at a year and 8 months old. [In Hugo the Abominable Snowman’s voice: “which way did he go George, which way did he go?”]
We adopter/rescued her when she was almost 3 years old.
She loves her kibbies and her Tuckies
Tucker and Calypso fell in love and had 8 puppies together
We miss all eight of them, but we found them all good homes.
Now it’s just us with the biggest babies of them all.
